Can I install windows mobile 5.0 with this disk onto my ipaq? No sorry we do not know how to install mobile 5.0, or how it is even possible with the CD, and if you figure out how to do it, please let us know because we get this question alot. These manuals and CD were pulled from a brand new ipaq hx2490c where the accessories were not needed, and it indicates in the manual that the getting started disc includes: 1. Windows Mobile Version 5.0 for pocket PC software 2. Microsoft Activesynch 4.0 3. Microsoft Outlook 2002 4. additional product information 5. important safety information We know that outlook 2002 is not included with the CD because they put a leaflet with the ipaq that says HP no longer provides outlook with the ipaq and that it must be purchased separately. But we cannot find where or how to install the windows mobile software. We have not tried, only browsed the cd for contents, and we asked HP for support on this but they will not give any support since these hx2490c ipaqs are discontinued. The windows mobile 5.0 pocket pc premium COA sticker is on the back of the CD envelope but as for the actual software it may not be included on the disc to our knowledge, and maybe only on the iPaq itself.
